Alfonso joined the Nauta team based in Barcelona in 2005. Since then, and as a member of the Operations team, he has accumulated close to 12 years of experience in investment and divestment transactions, takeovers, recapitalizations, public financing, distressed situations and structuring of stock option plans in portfolio companies across Europe and United States.

Additionally and as CFO of Nauta, he actively participates in the financial planning of the Group, as well as in fundraising processes, investor relations, relationship with regulators (CNMV in Spain) and in the adoption of several measures to prevent money laundering.

Prior to joining Nauta, Alfonso worked at Ernst & Young Barcelona for 3 years in the Assurance & Advisory Services department being the main responsible in the offices of Barcelona and Madrid for the investment analysis (derivatives, swaps, collaterals, equity and fixed income markets) for banking and insurance companies.

Alfonso started his professional career in 2002 at Antares Consulting, a Europe focused healthcare consulting firm, as a junior consultant for a six-month internship.

Alfonso holds a degree in Business Sciences and an MBA from ESADE.
